The editors and founders of OX magazine are taking part in the Editorial Design class in the Visual Design Master program at Scuola Politecnica di Design, Milan, in 2020. This class has usually been focusing on creating an editorial artefact in the form of a printed book. Due to the circumstances resulting from the Covid-19 pandemics, this class had to be transformed into an online course. And what lies closer for an online editorial class than conceiving a digital editorial artefact? The is how OX magazine was born. OX magazine focuses on art as a political means for making an impact. The idea for creating a political art magazine was inspired by Alain de Botton’s book “Art as Therapy” who investigated the responsibilities of politics with respect to art in order to create a happier and healthier life for us all.
